Directions to the falls:
  1. From the junction of U.S. 221 and U.S. 421 in Boone, head south on U.S. 421 for 10.8 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
  2. Turn onto the Parkway and head north for approximately 4.4 miles to a well signed parking area.
  3. The trail to the falls begins next to the bathrooms.
