Glen falls is a long series of major falls, small falls, and cascades that total over 600 feet in about a 1 mile stretch of river.


Directions to the falls:

  1. From the junction of NC 28 and US 64 in Highlands, head West on US 64.
  2. In 0.35 mile turn left on SR 106, and drive for 1.7 miles and turn left onto Glen Falls Road (SR 1618).
  3. Drive 1 mile to the end of Glen Falls Road and park at the turn around.
  4. The trail begins to the right of the small kiosk.
