Linville Falls

Directions to the falls:

From Asheville, NC, drive East on I-40 to exit 72.
After exiting the Interstate, continue to follow U.S. 70 East through Old Fort.
From the juntion of U.S. 70 and Catawba Avenue, it is 10.2 miles to U.S. 221 Bypass.
Turn left on U.S. 221 Bypass and drive for 0.6 mile to join U.S. 221 North.
Continue North on U.S. 221 for 20.8 miles and turn North on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Follow the Parkway for 1.1 miles and turn right onto Linville Falls Road.
Follow Linville Falls Road 1.5 miles to reach the parking area and trailhead.
The trail begins at the south end of the parking area.
