Directions to the falls:
  1. From the Junction of US 76 and US 441 in Clayton, turn south on US 441 and drive 7.9 miles to Joy Bridge Road.
  2. Turn right and continue 0.1 mile to Old US 441.
  3. Turn right and follow Old US 441 for 1.15 miles to Mathis Damn Road.
  4. Turn left and continue 0.4 mile to Lake Rabun Road.
  5. Turn right and drive 3.9 miles to Rabun Beach Campground #2 on the right.
  6. Turn right into the campground and follow the road 0.2 mile to the parking area on the right.
  7. The trailhead is 80 feet to the north of the parking area.
  8. Follow the trail 0.6 mile to Panther Falls, then continue another 0.3 mile to a platform at the base of the falls.
